In an often changing world the study of history, politics, and economics is essential to the understanding of issues both past and present. Why did World War II occur? What is a market system? How do politics affect the practices of the United States Government? These are all relevant questions asked and answered by the study of various social sciences. Bassett High School offers courses in World History, United States, History, Economics, United States Government, Psychology, and American Cultures.
